Intestinal Parasites

Intestinal parasites are a common problem among humans and animals. They consist of single-celled organisms called Protozoa or parasitic worms such as tapeworms, roundworms, and ringworms. Some of them are large (worms) and others can be microscopic in size (protozoa).

These organisms can be found in the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the food that you eat. They can attach themselves to your internal organs and cause serious damage to the human body.

The two main types of intestinal parasites include protozoa and helminths. Protozoas are single celled and can multiply within your body. Helminths can't multiply like protozoa but they can still cause damage. The most common type of Helminths are tapeworms and roundworms.

Symptoms of Intestinal Parasites

  • Diarreah
  • Fatigue and Weakness
  • Passing a Worm Through Bowel Movement
  • Gas and Bloating
  • Abdominal Pain and Soreness
  • Vomiting and Nausea

Not all people experience symptoms from intestinal parasites. Some of these organisms can go un-noticed for years without signs of symptoms. So just because you're not experiencing these symptoms, doesn't mean they are not infecting your body.

These little creatures can cause many health problems because they discharge harmful toxins and steal nutrients in our body as food sources.

Remedies For Intestinal Parasites

1. Black Walnut - This is an herbal remedy used for ringworms. These juices inside the black walnut are also used to cure fungal infections. However, there hasn't been any clinical studies showing the safety or effectiveness of black walnuts on parasitic infections.

2. Pumpkin Seeds - These have been used as a natural remedy for tapeworms and roundworms. These seeds are often mixed and mashed with juice.

3. Garlic - Garlic has been used for treating the body against Ascaris, Giardia lamblia, Trypanosoma, Plasmodium, and Leishmania.

4. Wormwood - This herb has been used for centuries as a herbal remedy for intestinal parasites. Preliminary research suggests wormwood may have activity against Ascaris lumbricoides, Plasmodium, Schistosoma mansoni, and Giardia.

5. Grapefruit Seed Extract - This is found in liquid form in health food stores. However, this is little research showing it's effectiveness on eliminating intestinal parasites.

Anti-Parasitic Diet

1. Tumeric and cloves are spices that have also been used to fight these little creatures.

2. Avoid drinking coffee, alcohol, refined sugar, and other refined foods.

3. Try eating more raw garlic.

4. Pineapple can help clear certain types of parasites such as tapeworms. Pineapple contains a digestive enzyme called Bromelain that helps in this cleansing process.

Intestinal parasite cleansing is probably the most effecive way of eliminating these harmful creatures. This cleansing process involves using a colon cleanser.
